According to the statistics, in our country, after harvesting the grain, the loss in the process of threshing, drying, keeping, transporting, processing and consuming up to 18%, which over the 5% standard stated by the FAO.

 Aimed at the situation of our country’s drying equipment and combined the market demand of the most countryside. The experts wrote that our country’s grain drying equipment will present six developing tendency as follows.

1. The capacity of grain dryer will became higher and larger. The manufacturer should develop the equipment which capacity is from 25 tons per hour to 30 tons per hour.

2. Design the equipment which can reduce the high moisture grain to the safety standard once. We can adopt combined drying method which means combining two or more drying methods into a new drying technology.

3. Adopt the advanced measurement and control technology to realize automated or semi-automated development in the drying process.

4. Use high temperature to dispose large quantities of high moisture grain quickly.

5. The dryer applied in the countryside should be developed to the direction of small model and multi-function.
